Food Service Management Rotation

Dietetic Intern, Jupiter Medial Center Feb 2020 - March 2020

  • Completed 168 hours split between the Patient Services Manager, Clinical Nutrition Manager, and the kitchen staff. 40 hours were completed online due to COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Prepared a Retail Marketing & Wellness event for the cafeteria.

  • Delegated kitchen duties with Patient Services Manager.

  • Demonstrated a smoothie recipe and diabetes education at a health fair.

  • Discussed heart health at another health fair and prepared heart healthy fruit salad to be distributed. 

  • Interviewed patients for Patient Experience Research Project.

  • Conducted a Systems Analysis Research Project for the kitchen.
